Cigar Review - Camacho Connecticut

Just enjoyed my first Camacho...very tasty.  It was a Christmas gift from my Brother-in-Law and turns out it was a great choice on his part!  This was the 11/18 from the Camacho Connecticut line.  It started out a bit spicy...just a tad peppery, just what you'd expect from that flawless Conn. wrapper.  It settled down almost immediately and was quite mild through the first quarter of the smoke.  The flavor really picked up about halfway through and just held a nice creamy flavor right down to the end.  All in all this was a really nice smoke and I'll add a few of these to the humidor for sure.  I enjoyed this Camacho stogie with a bottle of the Deschutes Brewery Jubelale...the spicy overtones of both the beer and the smoke really seemed to go well together.  I think a nice 15 year Glenlivet would have been nice as well...but I always think that!

Tight lines and long ashes!

First post!

With the mild winter we've had in these parts you'd think I'd have been able to get a couple of days out on the water but I've got the catch of a lifetime at home in my new baby boy so I'm here at home holding him, sipping a cold cup of joe, and dreaming of getting a line in the water this spring out at Roosevelt....
